On a break in life drawing class, I sketched some of the students chatting. I’m not going to inflict my weekly drawings of naked people on you, but I do want to report that I’m loving the class, and learning a lot.

sketchy business
I met up with Urban Sketchers Los Angeles at Santa Monica Pier yesterday; it was much easier to sketch the seated sketchers than the tourists walking by!
practice heads
While learning figure drawing basics with Pedro Loureiro, I’m using reference images from Sketch Daily to practice. Enjoying the process, and looking forward to seeing improvement.

I went to the library for a little people-sketching, but my pen ran out of ink after the first guy so this is all I got.
